Q: Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my massage therapy session?

A: Yes, be sure to stick to the following guidelines:

  • Drink plenty of water
  • Do not consume a large meal
  • Do not consume alcohol
  • New clients will be required to complete both the Client Data and Client Health forms. To save time during your first visit, it is suggested that the forms be downloaded and completed prior to your appointment
  • Prenatal clients will also need to complete the Client Prenatal Release prior to their first prenatal session. Based upon responses to this form, the Physician Prenatal Release may also be required
Q: What can I expect during my massage session?

A: Throughout a full-body massage, you will be completely draped with linen. Only the part of the body being worked is exposed. You will be instructed as to what is required of you throughout the session. Always communicate pain, discomfort or other concerns. A variety of music will generally be made available. It is your option if you wish to have music played during your massage. Conversing during the massage is acceptable, but excessive conversation may detract from the relaxation aspect of the massage. It is perfectly acceptable (and often desirable!) to fall asleep during your session.
